The Packers have a long-time, recent history of making moves in the first round. Sometimes to the angst of the fan base. If the Packers make a move in the first round, what is your favorite color?
As tempting as it is to say green and gold (or my actual favorite color turquoise), I’m going to have to say there is a very high likelihood Brian Gutekunst uses his substantial draft capital to move around if he finds a player he thinks will be gone at #22 or where the pick meets the value is considerably high given his track record in the NFL draft.

What do you think the Packers’ offense with look like if they don’t catch WR fever?
Matt LaFleur has 2 excellent running backs on the roster in Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon and really likes to employ a lot of looks with multiple TE, so I think we can expect a lot of creativity regardless of what the wide receiver room looks like next season. However, Aaron Rodgers who the offense runs through and even though his connection with Davante Adams was astounding, he’s at his best when he spreads the ball around to multiple targets. Here is his opportunity to prove once again why he’s the reigning MVP.

Originally, this meant something small and insignificant, but since our language is so fluid and subject to a complete 180° when meanings evolve it has taken on a similar meaning to expressions like the cat’s meow or Rodgers’ Hail Mary.

What is your opinion on the following? Selection #22 rolls around and Jameson Williams is still on the board. Do you take him, realizing that he will possibly be a generational talent when healthy, or pass on him because he won’t be of much help this year? I’m really conflicted on this one.
This is a really tough call. Everything points to the Packers being in win now mode and should be drafting with that frame of mind. I’m going to say no because there’s no guarantee he’ll come back and be the same player he was prior to injury.

Who do you like in the Final Four this weekend?
I watched less of March Madness this year than any in recent memory and had to look up who was left in the mix. I’m sure Bill the (PBR) Cat wants me to say Kansas with a resounding confidence, but I’m gonna say, “Don’t discount Duke,” with the knowledge I just jinxed them. You’re welcome.

Any way to have a running total of how much money we still have available vs. the cap limit? Or do you know of a link that may provide the information? With a draft class yet to sign and maybe an inexpensive FA or two, we are likely pushing the limit, even with some of the re-worked contracts and void years that are just laying down more track for the train bound to hit us to build up more speed.

What are your thoughts on Watson’s deal with the Browns?
Watson is an extremely gifted and talented quarterback, but the Browns may have made another mistake. Watson may be facing penalties unforeseen at this time and to tie up that much money in someone who may not be available to play, may not prove to be a very good move. However, the NFL is a league of second chances, so the Watson deal may work out for them yet.

Is Vic dead?
No matter what Vic is doing now, his words will live on in the hearts and minds of all who read them. He deserves his peace and quiet away from all of us. Somewhere near an old sintering plant is an empty stadium with a man waving a Terrible Towel with his hard hat with spinning lights, yelling out to the crisp air scented with hot mustard and freshly cut grass, “Here we go, Steelers!
